SYNOPSIS
1959. Seen from Bucharest, the blue planet looks red.
And right in full blown communist era, five comrades put on some masks and rob the National Bank armored car.
When the perpetrators were arrested, there was total surprise! The four men and the woman who was accompanying them were highly ranked communist officials, ex - fighters in the Resistance, they were all Jews and they gladly answered all questions except one: What were they planning to do with so much money in a country were one could only buy on coupons?
The authorities decided to end it quickly and set an example: the hold-up, the investigation and the trial will all be subject of a "docu-drama". Written by the "Securitate", the script had only one possible ending: depraved elements have stolen from the people; the people sends them to death!
Two weeks later, the "elements" were shot. For real.
This story is real too and the film we are planning tells it.
It will be the story of five friends in their thirties who realize having fucked up their youth for a false ideal and who refuse growing old in the world they have created. So, they create for themselves a spectacular way out of the scene.
It is, at least, a theory to consider. In 1959, the audience didn't have time to think about it. As soon as the film ended, other events turned all the eyes towards the future: comrade Gagarin was flying away to conquer the space.
Was he to discover other planets?... Better ones, maybe...?
REZUMAT
1959. Vazuta de la Bucuresti, planeta albastra e rosie.
In plina era comunista, cativa tovarasi isi pun mastile pe figura si jefuiesc masina Bancii Nationale.
Surpriza a fost mare cand infractorii au fost arestati! Cei patru barbati si femeia care-i insotea erau nomenclaturisti comunisti, fosti ilegalisti, erau cu totii evrei si raspundeau bucurosi la toate intrebarile, cu exceptia uneia: Ce ar fi putut face cu atatia bani intr-o tara in care se cumpara numai pe cupoane?
Autoritatile au decis sa termine repede si sa dea un exemplu: jaful, ancheta si procesul aveau sa fie subiectul unei "docu-drame". Scris de "Securitate", scenariul nu putea avea decat un final: elemente depravate au jefuit poporul; poporul le condamna la moarte!
Doua saptamani mai tarziu, "elementele" au fost executate. De-adevaratelea.
Istoria asta e si ea adevarata, iar filmul pe care il planuim o povesteste.
Va fi povestea a cicnci prieteni care inteleg ca si-au sacrificat tineretea pentru un fals ideal si care refuza sa imbatraneasca in lumea pe care au creat-o. Asa ca isi pun la cale o spectaculoasa iesire din scena.
E, cel putin, o teorie de luat in seama. In 1959, spectatorii nu se gandeau la asta. Odata filmul terminat, alte evenimente le intorceau privirile spre viitor: tovarasul Gagarin se indrepta in zbor spre cucerirea spatiului.
Va descoperi, oare, alte planete?... Mai bune, poate...?
Filmul este in proces de finantare, iar filmarile se vor desfasura in cursul anului 2010
